This syllabus outlines the structure, expectations, and policies for flight training. Instruction follows FAA guidance (including Federal Aviation Administration standards) and is tailored to each student's pace, goals, and proficiency.

Training is competency-based, not just hour-based.

Each lesson typically includes:

• Preflight briefing (15–30 min)
• Flight time (time dependent)
• Post-flight debrief (15–30 min)

Students are expected to study between lessons to maximize progress.

Punctuality & Preparation

• Students must arrive at least 15 minutes early to each lesson.
• This time is used for planning, weather review, and preflight inspection.
• Late arrival may result in shortened flight time while still being billed for the full lesson.
• Repeated tardiness may lead to rescheduling or discontinuation of training.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• 12-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations may be charged.
• No-shows are charged in full for the slotted time booked.
• Exceptions may be made for emergencies or unsafe weather conditions at instructor discretion.

Cleanliness & Aircraft Care

• Maintain a clean, professional cockpit environment.
• No food or drink unless approved.
• Remove all trash and personal items after each lesson.
• Report any spills, damage, or aircraft concerns immediately.
• Respect for the aircraft is a core part of safe airmanship.

• Safety is the top priority at all times.
• Students must follow all instructor guidance and FAA regulations.
• Unsafe behavior may result in immediate termination of the lesson.

• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
• Lessons are scheduled in advance and subject to aircraft and instructor availability.
• Block rates or package pricing may be offered at instructor discretion.
